Related words

I haven't been changing this section on your page creations because I was absent for a period of time and can't remember exactly what our stance is on "Related words" sections--but--I think you may be mislabelling. I seem to recall that we're only supposed to place words in this section that contain the entry word itself or some derivation of it (see right for an example). Many of the words you've labelled as "Related words" may more accurately be labelled as "Synonyms" or perhaps even as "See also". You may want to check with Brett as I know he's had strong feelings about this sort of thing in the past and should be able to clarify a little better. Thanks! · Tygrrr... 20:49, 12 April 2010 (UTC)

Examples

The best example sentences help a user understand the meaning of the word. I am the first to admit that that is not always easy and I also sometimes fall short. Your example sentences certainly aren't bad, but I've noticed a few that could be more useful (e.g. Appalachia, Zaire, conformist). Ahaha! Honestly I have no idea why I had the urge to suddenly type that. :) Maybe my subconcious is trying to tell me the whereabouts of my lost Uncle Ned. Oh well, I'll try to keep my future examples more dictionary-like (but I'm glad you got to appreciate the original anyways!). Error with plural form

I created "royal family" but inadvertently created "royal familys". I renamed it to the correct form but the plural form came out "royal familys" and I couldn't move it to "royal families". Can you correct the plural form for me? Thanks. Rus793 (talk) 14:55, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
