Projects page for schools?

[change]

I'm considering a project for my English learners to write content for Simple English wiktionary entries. I know that there is a projects page and a system in place on Simple English Wikipedia for younger students to add content with the oversight of an administrator. I'm wondering if there's any such structure in the SE wiktionary or if I should set up some advanced notice of what I'm planning to do before I do it. Thanks for any guidance you could offer. Thanks for the heads-up. There is no such system here, unfortunately, so, yes, please, give us some advance notice. In the past, there have been one or two cases where teachers have assigned students to do this, and the often the changes were deleted because they were plagiarized or they duplicated existing definitions. Please, ensure that you and your students are aware of our layout guidelines. Let me know if I can be of assistance.--Brett (talk) 11:53, 3 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

108.194.183.0

[change]

Can someone please block ‎108.194.183.0 and delete all its creations? They're all either advertising, NPOV violations or just plain vandalism. J991 14:22, 3 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

IP vandalism

[change]

Please block 92.40.249.117 as this IP has vandalised and created lots of bad pages here. Pkbwcgs (talk) 17:56, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Attack username

[change]

Someone created an account called User:Pkbwcgs sucks. Can you please block it as it is attacking my username. Pkbwcgs (talk) 17:11, 16 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Possible socking

[change]

I am been seeing abnormal vandalism patterns recently from a few IP addresses and urgent action needs to be taken. Here is a bit of information. Both IPs have links to Wandsworth (England). I have done a check here and here. The whole range has been blocked on English Wikipedia. See [1]. One of the other IPs who vandalised is from England. I don't know where but I presume it is from London by looking at where the arrow is point to on the map. See [2]. Two other attack accounts have also been created here and here. I am worried that if this is not sorted out, the situation could be even worse. The IP range has a long history of disruption and I am proposing a range block for the whole IP range from which they are editing from. This IP range has been blocked for six months on English Wikipedia. Pkbwcgs (talk) 20:22, 16 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

These IPs have also been blatantly attacking me and my username. Pkbwcgs (talk) 20:25, 16 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I am also not happy that J991 is making false allegations that I am socking. Not only the fact that the IPs have blatantly attacked me and my username but I take it as a ‘‘‘personal attack‘‘‘ when J991 says I am ‘‘socking‘‘. I am also reporting this here. Firstly, I managed to revert the IPs edits in seconds so how could J991 claim that I am socking? It is not fair! Just because I am reverting vandalism and patrolling, it doesn‘t mean that J991 calls me a ‘‘sock‘‘! I take this as a personal attack and I am reporting it here. Pkbwcgs (talk) 06:45, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Anybody is free to make allegations, whether they are true or not. The interpretation and reaction of the user is the only factor that could escalate any possible conflict. It's vital that you remain civil, and deal with the allegations in a professional manner. Your complaining here certainly doesn't help. hiàn 23:45, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Protecting my user page

[change]

Can my non-existent userpage be protected so that only autoconfirmed users can create it. Thanks. Pkbwcgs (talk) 18:55, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Done.--Brett (talk) 21:01, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion requests

[change]

There have been many deletion requests for January 2018 at Wiktionary:Requests for deletion that haven't closed. Can an administrator please look into them. Thanks. Pkbwcgs (talk) 20:43, 10 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Could a sysop look into this userpage? Judging by the revisions, it looks as if the user is treating this as a dating site. Please delete the userpage as out of scope and block the user. Thank you, hiàn/editing on mobile account 15:12, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It certainly looks odd, but it's not infringing anything as far as I can tell. It would be useless as a dating strategy because there's no way to contact any of the profiles.--Brett (talk) 15:41, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
