  1. (uncountable) Stamina is the ability to keep going even if you are incredibly tired. It is endurance in the face of difficulty, pain, or tiredness.
    Cross country runners are known for their incredible stamina when they run 26 mile races called marathons.
    In mixed martial arts fights, sometimes the better fighter is the one with more stamina that is able to last longer in the final rounds.
