Hello, Ruy Pugliesi, and welcome to the Simple English Wiktionary!

We hope you will be happy editing here. Some helpful pages to begin with are Wiktionary:Community Portal, Wiktionary:Useful, Help:Contents, Wiktionary:Rules, Wiktionary:How to change a page, and Help:Creating a new entry.

If you want to talk with other members or ask a question, you can visit Wiktionary:Simple talk. Administrators can also help you with more difficult problems. You can also ask me for help. The best way to do that is to leave a message on my talk page. Just remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing "~~~~" (four tildes) at the end of your words.

Good luck and happy editing! Barras (talk) 22:47, 6 January 2011 (UTC) Barras (talk) 22:47, 6 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for deleting User:DomenicCordell! What was going on there? I couldn't see anything actually contravening guidelines, but it was very strange. Two similar users User:MyrtisGilbreath & User:KiaraA65051 also have these silly short bios that keep changing.--Brett (talk) 13:53, 22 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Brett: They are both spambots, i.e0,. a software aimed to assist in the sending of spam. To do so they usually exploit security vulnerabilities in some colocation web hosting services. RadiX 03:46, 23 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
