Adminship
[change]Hello Peter. I've granted you adminship here on simple WT per what I said on ST. Please keep in mind to only use the tools when obviously no local regular admin is around. Use the tools wisely. If there is no rush for doing something with the tool (random IP creates a nonsense-testpage), so please keep in mind that this is mostly not urgent and can/should wait for a normal/regular admin. If you wish to be a regular admin, you will have to make a formal request here. As a summary, this is an adminship with some restriction as you aren't a real regular on this wiki. Have fun with the tools! Kind regards -Barras talk 21:48, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
- Hello! I've removed your sysop rights per per this on WT:ST as global sysops were elected. Thanks for your service! Barras talk 20:06, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

Condescending message
[change]I do not appreciate your latest comment that you made on my talk page. It was very offensive and you know it. Stop trying to do everything in your power to irk me, because you seem to be doing that a lot. Sure, you may not like me, but if someone asks me for help on my talk page, I would appreciate it if you would not write messages like the one that you wrote on my talk page in the future. It can be construed as a personal attack, and I absolutely do not appreciate it. Please refrain from this in the future. Razorflame 17:58, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
- He was simply trying to help. You're the one that appears to be looking for something to get agitated about. Griffinofwales (talk) 17:59, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
- The way he worded his statement clearly indicated that he does not like me, and that people shouldn't waste their time asking me for help. He should have worded it differently. He could've said something like this: "He's not online right now, but Barras might be able to help you." Instead, he went with what he wrote, which is borderline personal attack. Razorflame 18:02, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
- We all can't word it the way you want it. Sometimes we take it the wrong way. Griffinofwales (talk) 18:04, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
- I know that, but he could've at least made an effort to word it appropriately. *sigh* Razorflame 18:07, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

Recent Pakistan spamming
[change]For future reference, you can use special:nuke instead of manually deleting each page. :) Tempodivalse [talk] 21:20, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
- That's what I did. Regards, PeterSymonds (talk) 21:20, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
- Oh, that's odd. I didn't see the "Mass deletion of pages:" that automatically goes in the summary so I automatically assumed you didn't use the nuke. *blushes* Sorry. Tempodivalse [talk] 21:23, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
- It allows you to change the default reason. Personally I don't like to use the default because it's far too generic and often leads to later confusion, even in the most obvious cases. But hey-ho. :-) PeterSymonds (talk) 22:19, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, I haven't actually ever used nuke myself before, and all the nukes I've seen employed used the default summary, so I got to thinking it was built-in, which let to my confusion ... anyways, thanks for the help. GlobalSysops are cool :) Tempodivalse [talk] 01:11, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
