Suggestion and permission request to make a w:User:Operator873/enWPTab.js fork for Simple English Wiktionary[change]

Hello, I'm already using the enWPTab.js script at simplewiki and English Wikiquote, and I'm sure that this is a really useful tool for English language sister projects. I'm writing this to suggest and have your permission to make a fork (enWTtab.js) for Simple English Wiktionary. Since the installation of Vector 2022, navigation between sister projects has become harder, and that is one common objections to Vector 2022. If we had a script like enWTtab.js, we can enjoy the advantages of Vector 2022 while securing easier navigation to English Wiktionary. What would you think about this? I'm looking forward to hearing from you. MathXplore (talk) 04:29, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@MathXplore: as you can tell from the various list of authors, that script really belongs to the community at large. Please feel free to adapt as you see fit! Operator873 (talk) 19:21, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't notice that the code belongs to the community at large, how should I provide attribution in this case? Should I use the permanent link for your script or is there anything else that I have to write? MathXplore (talk) 01:48, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This has been forked by Hiàn, see User:Hiàn/enwiktTab.js Minorax (talk) 06:24, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't notice that fork, thank you for the information. MathXplore (talk) 06:31, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
