OK, maybe we can agree to let the idea of "crossroads" show in one of the example sentences. To me, the idea of something like a crossroads or a fork in the road in crucial to understanding the meaning of this word. This is about ideas. It's not about Christ. I think "you cannot succeed without it" does not cover all the meanings of the word. It doesn't work when you say "I'm facing some crucial decisions now". To me, the idea of crossroads covers all the meanings. It means things will go different ways. It doesn't have to mean that there are two ways, one being success and one being failure. --Coppertwig 16:51, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
