Plain form
unsay

Third-person singular
unsays

Past tense
unsaid

Past participle
unsaid

Present participle
unsaying

  1. (almost always in the subjunctive) To unsay something is to make it so that it was never said. This isn't possible in real life, so when this word is used, it's usually someone wishing they could do it.
I wish I could unsay the insults I said to you last night.
