1. If ${\displaystyle x}$ is on top of ${\displaystyle y}$, ${\displaystyle x}$ is on the highest part of ${\displaystyle y}$.
I can't get the book. It's on top of the bookcase.
2. If ${\displaystyle x}$ is on top of ${\displaystyle y}$, ${\displaystyle x}$ in control of ${\displaystyle y}$ or knows about ${\displaystyle y}$.
There's a lot to learn, but I think I'm on top of it so far.
3. if ${\displaystyle x}$ happens on top of ${\displaystyle y}$, they both happen.
On top of all the problems I had yesterday, my car broke down.
