1. (mathematics) The divisor is the number that another number is divided by.

   In the equation "48 ÷ 6 = 8", the divisor is 6.

2. (mathematics) The divisors of a number are all the numbers which evenly divide into it.

   The divisors of 12 are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 12.
