• Name: Chris Horsley
• Software developer interested in developing applications for second language learners, particularly those learning English and Japanese.
• Developing a script to import the Simple English Wiktionary into the Redis key-value store, which is hosted on Github. The intent is to allow language-learning software applications to display simplified definitions (e.g. popup definitions). At some point, would like to expand this to other Wiktionaries, starting with English.
• The process of building this tool also uncovers inconsistency in markup, so fixing entries as I go.
