Object-oriented Predicative Oblique[change]

A predicative oblique is an oblique predicative argument which occurs after the preposition as or for.

For example, in the clause She rates his work as excellent, the AdjP excellent functions as Predicative Oblique of the verb rate.

I would say "in the rate verb phrase," but perhaps your wording is better for Simple English Wiktionary.--Brett (talk) 13:38, 27 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
I guess this may be a terminological issue. I would say the PP as excellent functions as Marked Predicative Complement in the rate-VP. After all, it is the as-PP rather than the AdjP that is an immediate constituent of the rate-VP: the AdjP is just an immediate constituent of the as-PP. In this respect, the grammatical function of the AdjP is in fact Predicative Complement of as, given that grammatical function is another term for grammatical relation.
