  1. To render is to create or force into a state. Rendering is often used to describe the way a computer makes pictures on a screen.
  2. (intransitive) (cooking) If the fat of a piece of meat renders', the fat drips off the meat when cooking.
    Bacon is very fatty when raw; however, most of the fat will render during cooking.
