Some suggestions[change]

Hi again! Congratulations! You've already made more new entries than most existing users. Maybe now is a good time for me to make some suggestions:

  • Please begin your entry with the word category, like: noun, verb, adjective, preposition, adverb. Before you put this, you put two equal signs, and you use a capital letter. So, it looks like this ==Noun==. After that, you put the Template for that category. I see you made a new stub template, so I can see you know about them already. The category templates don't use upper case, so it would look like this {{noun}}. There's some fancier stuff with some of the templates, like {{verb}} to show the different endings, but you don't have to worry about that right now.
  • Try to choose easy words that are neutral, I mean not slangy. So when you're defining tot, instead of saying a tot is a kid, maybe child would be better.
  • Try to be precise. Again, looking at tot, what does little mean? It's kind of unclear. Like my son is a little kid, but he's six and he's not a tot. So maybe you could say a tot is a child who is just learning to walk or who is about one or two years old or something like that.

I hope this is helpful to you. Have fun!--Brett 11:42, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
