Define words using a complete sentence.
Try to make the example sentences in which the word's definition is clear by reading it. For example, in "The speaker gave an outstanding presentation, and everyone stood to applaud him," it is clear that something outstanding must be something laudable.
Check out Wiktionary:Sample entry for an easy formatting template.
Often times pronunciations can be nabbed from the English Wiktionary.

To explain uneasy with the word easy is not really helpful, a better definition would be useful here
Explaining disobey with the more or less the same word is only little helpful. A different explanation might be useful here.

Don't link to plural forms, comparative, superlative, third-person singulars, etc. directly. Have a look at this change to see how it's done. The reason we do this is because, for example, plural pages are usually "auto-generated" using the Accelerated script (which is in turn displayed using {{plural of}}), which isn't going to be very descriptive for the reader about what the word is about. Exceptions to this is usually for plural pages that actually explain the word itself.
If you would like, do use the input boxes on my user page to quickly create a new entry. It provides quite a bit of comments in the preloaded text that helps in guiding you through creating a properly-formatted entry page. Just remember to remove those comments before you save the page, and just don't touch the last input box on that page. Just, leave, that, alone. :)
Just a tip that adding images to your entry pages should be done immediately after the word type template (such as {{noun}}), not after you have added your definition. This ensures that the page is formatted correctly instead of being mixed up accidentally. Also, add that |thumb portion so as to render it a thumbnail, and do add a nice descriptive caption to it as well.

Remember, don't explain words with the word itself!
