സ്ത്രീകൾ കാലുകളിൽ ധരിക്കുന്ന ആഭരണമാണിത്. സാധാരണയായി സ്വർണ്ണം വെള്ളി എന്നീ ലോഹങ്ങളിലാണ് പാദസരം നിർമ്മിക്കുന്നത്. ചെറിയ മണികളോ മറ്റോ കൂട്ടി ചേർത്തും പാദസ്വരം ഉണ്ടാകാറുണ്ട്. നൃത്തം പോലെയുള്ള കലാപരിപാടികൾക്ക് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന വളരെയധികം ശബ്ദം ഉളവാക്കുന്ന മണികളോടുകൂടിയ കാലിൽ തന്നെ ധരിക്കുന്ന ആഭരണത്തെ ചിലങ്ക എന്നാണ് പറയുന്നത്. ചെമ്പ് / ഇരുമ്പ് തുടങ്ങിയ ലോഹം കൊണ്ടാണ് ചിലങ്ക നിർമ്മിക്കുന്നത്. |
