I disagree with the change just made. Daylights is not the plural of daylight and daylight is not the singular of daylights. Their definitions have nothing to do with one another. They are both mass nouns. · Ty grrr... 19:05, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OED lists them under the same heading and has daylights as plural. I know it's not very idiomatic, but even if you were forcing things, you'd say "his daylights are easily knocked out", not "his daylights is easily knocked out," which would be the case if it were a mass noun.--Brett 20:10, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What about using {{noun2}} and having it as plural only? I think it's more akin to a word like clothes than it is to being the plural of daylight. I think noun2 is what I should have used from the start, instead of singular=daylights and no plural.· Ty grrr... 18:36, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
