Hello, Words68, and welcome to the Simple English Wiktionary!

We hope you will be happy editing here. Some helpful pages to begin with are Wiktionary:Community Portal, Wiktionary:Useful, Help:Contents, Wiktionary:Rules, Wiktionary:How to change a page, and Help:Creating a new entry.

If you want to talk with other members or ask a question, you can visit Wiktionary:Simple talk. Administrators can also help you with more difficult problems. You can also ask me for help. The best way to do that is to leave a message on my talk page. Just remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing "~~~~" (four tildes) at the end of your words.

Good luck and happy editing!

Thank you for your edit on tram. Please, keep in mind that this is the SIMPLE English wiktionary. Please, make sure your edits are simple in vocabulary or structure. Words like convey, for instance, are not likely to be known by the audience.--Brett (talk) 02:01, 24 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry Brett I'm new to editing Wiktionary & didn't realise it was the Simple English Wiktionary that I was editing. Is there a suggested word list for Simple English? Thanks 1.129.97.123 (talk) 05:12, 24 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
There are a variety of word lists, but it would be very time consuming to check everything against them. In general, just being conscious of the need to keep things simple is likely to have the intended effect.--Brett (talk) 11:06, 24 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
