Hello, Vibhijain, and welcome to the Simple English Wiktionary!

We hope you will be happy editing here. Some helpful pages to begin with are Wiktionary:Community Portal, Wiktionary:Useful, Help:Contents, Wiktionary:Rules, Wiktionary:How to change a page, and Help:Creating a new entry.

If you want to talk with other members or ask a question, you can visit Wiktionary:Simple talk. Administrators can also help you with more difficult problems. You can also ask me for help. The best way to do that is to leave a message on my talk page. Just remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing "~~~~" (four tildes) at the end of your words.

Good luck and happy editing! Tempodivalse [talk] 15:25, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You now have Rollback rights on this wiki per your sysop status elsewhere and your crosswiki contributions, thanks for volunteering. Please remember to only use rollback for clear cases of vandalism. Tempodivalse [talk] 15:25, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Tempodivalse. Will try my best to serve the community. Vibhijain (talk) 17:18, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your first edits[change]

Hi, Vibhijain

Thanks for adding micro. Your formatting is excellent! For your definitions and examples, there are two things to keep in mind. First of all, this is the SIMPLE English wiktionary. Try to imagine that you're writing for somebody who's been studying English for a year or so, or if you can't imagine that, try to explain the word to an average seven-year-old. The second thing is part of this: the definitions here are mostly written in full sentence style. Think of them as explanations instead of glosses. I hope that helps.--Brett (talk) 14:36, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for that. I am relatively still not very experienced with simple projects, but i will try my best to lean and serve the community. Vibhijain (talk) 16:18, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
