Although the word is usually not used in the plural, the plural form exists as in this example from the medical Journal, The Lancet: The main consideration in these legislations is to give the individual the ability to "opt out" (12/7/91, Vol. 338 Issue 8780, p1441, 3p).--Brett (talk) 11:58, 6 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
