  1. The Eastern Bloc was a group of countries located on the Eastern side during the Cold War (Soviet side). It included communist positive countries such as East Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, and Albania.
    The Soviet Union was in control of the Eastern Bloc.
