Determiner
everything

  1. (definite) (singular) Everything is all that exists, or all things in one area.
If you win, you get everything: the car and all other prizes you won!

Note[change]

  • Everything is not like a pronoun. It has no reflexive form and no different subject or object forms. It even uses the possessive 's of common nouns. For this reason, some people consider it to be a compound determiner.
