Completed requests for adminship[change]

Arbitrarily0[change]

End date: 21:29 UTC, 20 September 2010

Hi all! I'm here today to nominate Arbitrarily0 (talk · changes) for administrator rights here on Wiktionary. He's already around here for a few weeks now and created lots of new pages and also helped with correcting the formatting of new pages. Furthermore, he occasionally tagged pages for deletion. Arbitrarily0 is an admin on the English Wikipedia and therefore knows how he has to use the tools. I think we would benefit from having him as an additional administrator here. I hope you see it the same way. Good luck! -Barras (talk) 19:20, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Candidate acceptance: I accept this nomination - thank you, Barras, for your kind words. Warmly, Arbitrarily0 (talk) 21:29, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This looks clear. Let's close the vote. I've changed Arbitrarily0's permissions to admin.--Brett (talk) 13:10, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks all for your comments! I'll be sure to give it my best, Arbitrarily0 (talk) 16:42, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

RubiksMaster110[change]

Hello. I came here to ask you for rollback feature so I can start patrolling and reverting vandalisms here in this wiki. I am a rollbacker on simple english wikipedia and spanish wikipedia. You can see my global contributions here], as you can see I have never been blocked or warned or something like it. Thank you guys, I hope I can be part of your community! Greetings, RubiksMaster110 (talk) 04:26, 5 January 2010 (UTC). PD: I also requested this here for any reason. [reply]

  • N Not done Sorry, I can't feel comfortable giving you rollback. You are a rollbacker on eswp - however, as I remember having said on a different wiki previously, your simplewp rollback was granted on the basis of the former. In the past few days, I have seen you ask rollback on enwp and thereafter GR. I fear that you only wish to "collect" rights, rather than put them to use. Your editing in the wikis where you requested for rollback has been sporadic and I don't see any real reason to grant you the tool now. It is not at all a big deal, and thus, I'll be happy to grant it after some days of editing. Regards, Pmlineditor  16:57, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I-20, Diego Grez, and others[change]

Hi, could you grant me rollback?. Maybe the wiki isn't edited much right now, but it is sometimes vandalism. I'm connected a great amount of time of the day and I could be helpful, because this isn't a very large wiki. :) Thanks. --Diego Grez let's talk 18:39, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Y Done I think you can be trusted. But please, make sure to only use rollback to remove edits that are blatantly vandalism. For anything else, use "undo" with a descriptive reason. :-) Thanks for volunteering. Tempodivalse [talk] 18:41, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I'll take care now that I patrol +600 wikis :D --Diego Grez let's talk 18:45, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

(outdent) Could I have rollback? PiRSquared17 (talk) 17:53, 25 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. -Barras talk 18:12, 25 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. PiRSquared17 (talk) 18:55, 25 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

(outdent) Me too? Have on simple. (Barras deleted my userpage and I just wanted to link to my simple Wikipedia page. It is not vandalism.) I-20 (talk) 23:07, 10 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Y Done - but it was Brett who deleted the pages since you created it as IP. -Barras talk 09:29, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If one is only to ask for the rollback bit at Wiktionary:Requests for permissions, perhaps someone should update Wiktionary:Rollback feature and remove "You may ask for rollback at ... Wiktionary:Administrators' noticeboard ..." Just a thought. :) Avicennasis (talk) 20:23, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
DOne, thanks for the info! -Barras talk 20:25, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Completed requests for autopatroller[change]

N Not done per Barras. I-20 (talk) 19:59, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'll add the flag as soon as the entries are correct formatted and I don't have to correct them. -Barras (talk) 20:03, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. I-20 (talk) 20:04, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Check my recent creations. I-20 (talk) 20:25, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
A few more problems still. I-20 (talk) 20:37, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

(unindenting) While I am not an administrator on this site right now, I have been one in the past, and just looking over your contributions, there are many entries that you've made that require cleanup. Basically put, as soon as you or other editors don't have to correct any mistakes that you've made to any entries, that is when you'll get the autopatroller flag, but for right now, it is a bit premature to request the autopatroller flag. I would like to suggest that you wait a few more weeks and we'll see if we can give you the autopatroller flag at that point in time. Cheers, Razorflame 22:00, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
