Wiktionary:Edit conflict

From Wiktionary
Jump to: navigation, search

An edit conflict is when two people edit the same page at the same time. The person who starts the edit second finds a page with two large edit boxes on it. The bottom one is their edit, and the top one is the other person's edit. In between is a side-by-side comparison of the differences. The changes made to the top box will be saved when the editor clicks on "save page." Please respect the changes another person is making to the page.
