You have been blocked[change]

This is to inform you that you have been blocked temporarily (for 1 week) for spamming RecentChanges with automated changes made using AutoWikiBrowser (AWB). While the use of AWB is allowed on the Simple English Wiktionary, prior permissions are required to be granted before these changes are made to avoid spamming recent changes and to allow the community to discuss whether such edits are necessary and acceptable. Note: You are still able to change your own talk page, please request for an unblock if you think that this block was made in error. Thank you. --Hydriz (talk) 14:03, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hydriz, I have seen your message just now and noted the contents therein. You have blocked me for 1 week for utilising the AWB in Simple English Wiktionary due to non obtaining prior permission from the heirarchy. In this connection it is to inform you that I am not aware that obtaining prior permission is necessary regarding this issue. I did not understand the point that how come the issue of violation arise when the changes made using AWB did not cause any severe damage to any of the pages here. As per obtaining permission, who will and who will be granted permission and in how many days can be get it ? I have inter-linked to telugu wiktionary duly furnishing the te:name page only. I feel that this is not a mistake or spamming or else. You pointed out with out any verification that most of the simple wiktionary words are not interlinked with telugu wiktionary. You please refer the category of "వర్గం:బ్రౌను నిఘంటువు పదాలు"[1]in telugu wiktionary and you will find out there that most of the simple wiktionary words are interlinked. Further,if any pages were delinked with the original I will rectify all the pages. I am using AWB only to create telugu wiktionary pages after obtaining new simple english wiktionary words from here. Otherwise you upload all simple english wiktionary words to telugu wiktionary and then afterwards I will create new pages if any required. Its like you are imposing a black mark unnecessarily on my entire work. Moreover, you have blocked me for one week without any intimation abruptly. Did you observe anything wrong in my work ? I didnt understand when no mistake was done by me,why am I supposed to be blocked? Its not fair on your part as being an admin for this wiki to take such decision in a hurry. We all know that Admin means not a power but its like to be a guide to co-wiki users in right direction. Anyways, its not a fair judgement made for you blocking me and psychologically depressing me like this.I suggest you to go through my profile in Telugu wikipedia and telugu wiktionary and know something about me and my works too. Please respect and offer friendly atmosphere to the veteran members. This is just my request and opinion. After checking out the above points, please unblock me in a positive aspect and permit me to use AWB whenever it is required. We have to accept that wikis are not anyone's own property and it is a free social work without expecting any rewards from any type of source, only. Thanking you. Thank you for your reply. A few examples where the corresponding page does not exist is usable and usabilities. I am certain there is many more, because it is impossible that every single page on the Simple English Wiktionary has got a corresponding page on the Telugu Wiktionary. Even if the change you have made has no issues, it's a duty of a robot to add the interwiki links and not a human editor. It is not an acceptable behavior to just run AWB to make mass changes without first consulting the community.
If you are interested in obtaining permissions, you can do so on Wiktionary:Simple talk and the request will be approved by a bureaucrat within a week if possible.
I would like to also clarify my stand that the block was made not to abuse administrative tools, but to prevent further possible damage to the Simple English Wiktionary. Without prior notification of this mass changes, the community is unprepared and will have to manually patrol all your edits. In the future, it is always important to seek permission before doing changes that disrupt the normal workings of a wiki. --Hydriz (talk) 22:25, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Anyway, I have unblocked you on the grounds that you did not know that there is such a procedure in place. Please do not continue changing Wiktionary using AWB unless you are given further permissions. Thank you. --Hydriz (talk) 22:56, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
