Other spellings[change]

I added n00b as an alternate spelling. I'm not sure we want to encourage leet, though. Do others think it's appropriate for a modern dictionary like se:wikt to have leet entries? I'm torn... · Tygrrr... 19:20, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not very sure either, but I would say that if the leet word is widely used by lots of people, then it would be alright. Otherwise, it would not because it could fall under a protologism. Cheers, Razorflame 19:45, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Personally, I'd put the standard spelling on a page for a leet entry, but not the other way round.--Brett 21:48, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, that seems to make the most sense for us right now. Cheers, Razorflame 22:37, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Seeing that we had it listed on newb but not linked, I figured we could do that here as well as a fair compromise. · Tygrrr... 02:23, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, I would agree with you. I had thought of that, but a cross-wiki vandal left me unable to make the appropriate change. Cheers, Razorflame 02:24, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
